Living Residence | Barreiro

The Living Residence project emerged in Barreiro during a moment of change in the real estate market, establishing itself as one of the first developments to respond to the growing demand for alternatives to Lisbon, in a context of rising prices in the capital.

The intervention is positioned as a housing solution oriented towards families, combining quality of life, functionality, and affordability in a growing territory with strong potential for appreciation.

Located within a contemporary urban development, the building seeks to integrate in a balanced way into its surroundings through a sober and coherent architectural language, ensuring continuity within the urban fabric.

The development consists of 12 residential units ranging from T2 to T4 typologies, with underground parking, directly addressing the needs of the local market.

The spatial organisation prioritises functionality and family living, with social areas in continuity and a strong connection to the exterior, promoting comfort and efficient use.

The choice of materials and construction solutions was guided by durability, low maintenance, and execution quality, using phenolic panel cladding and technical systems suited to the context.

The project integrates efficiency solutions, including solar thermal panels and rainwater harvesting systems, reinforcing the sustainability of the development.

Developed with a strong focus on execution, Living Residence contributed to the revaluation of Barreiro, establishing itself as one of the projects that marked the beginning of a new investment dynamic on the south bank of the Tagus.
