A.Gosto | Restaurant, Portimão Hospitality Architecture

The A.Gosto project was developed to respond to a highly dynamic seasonal context, near Praia do Amado, ensuring adaptability to high visitor flow during the summer season.

The proposal is based on the enhancement of the existing building, preserving its morphological characteristics and strengthening its relationship with the exterior through large glazed surfaces, which reveal the interior layout and bring the space closer to its surrounding environment.

The concept is grounded in the creation of a contemporary atmosphere connected to the natural setting, using sober materials and colours combined with more expressive elements that give the space its identity.

The restaurant is organised across three distinct levels, each with its own function and atmosphere: a lounge at entrance level, a service area on the lower floor designed for quick stays, and the main dining area on the upper floor, more private and refined.

The selection of materials and the introduction of elements such as a green wall enhance comfort and the connection with nature, creating a balanced and coherent space.

The result is a project that clearly responds to its context, ensuring functionality, identity, and quality of use.
