The 4-bedroom villa project in Aroeira consisted of the legalisation and reconfiguration of an existing house, with the aim of improving functionality, expanding the social areas, and strengthening the relationship between interior and exterior spaces.

The intervention focused on reorganising the interior layout, creating a continuous social area where the kitchen, dining room, and living room operate in an integrated way, increasing spatial fluidity and usability.

Significant changes were introduced to the façades, simplifying openings and creating larger window spans, allowing more natural light and a stronger connection to the exterior.

The use of elements such as wooden slats and glass balustrades enhances the façades, providing protection, privacy, and visual continuity with the outdoors.

At programmatic level, the project included the reconfiguration of private areas, with the creation of en-suite bedrooms and a reorganisation of rooms, adapting the home to current needs.

The outdoor spaces were also redesigned, including the addition of a swimming pool and improved leisure areas, enhancing the overall use of the property.

The result is a functional and contemporary villa that values the relationship between spaces, natural light, and quality of use, with a practical and execution-oriented approach.
