Surrounded by a pine forest with unique characteristics, dense and consolidated, this proposal has two rectangular shapes across the lot, allowing a dialogue with its surroundings. The lower extended volume creates a match with the existing topography where its stone façade follows the shade of the existing material and creates a visual affinity.
The façade opens gently into the exterior joining the natural to the built, forming a holistic relationship.
A dramatic connection materializes where the upper body creates the illusion of fusion with the natural site, and here is where the bedrooms are.
With a simple and functional layout, the house is adaptable and allows a wide and free circulation.
On the ground floor, the social foundation of the house develops, both interior and exteriorly.
Settled on a stone body, the upper floor has a clear and smooth finish.
In the act of separating and superimposing, architecture creates tension, a spatial firmness, while offering fluidity and elevation. It offers solidity and connection with the atmosphere, as well as the feelings of belonging and of withdrawing to its residents.
