Trade Invalids

The relationship between nature and individual is the basis for an integrative environment, resulting in an exceptional attendance to users.
This temporary cafeteria presents itself as a modular, multifunctional and adaptable structure for different purposes.
The marked rhythm is a reflection of its urban surroundings.
The building opens into two gardens. It takes advantage of the sun exposure and allows the surrounding vegetation to intervene in the interior atmosphere, with a game of shadows and reflections.
Inside, the theme of adaptability is striking. As an open space, it allows many layouts and greater flexibility. Materials reflect those from the outside such as wood. Games of colour and textures appeal to the senses of its users.
The exterior covered with phenolic panels takes advantage of the material used to create reflections depending on the sun’s angle, making it capricious.
A flexible and dynamic space fosters the intention of awareness of the senses toward the surroundings. An ever-changing place fosters stimuli and the interest about the individual.
